(Farragut, IA) -- In southwest Iowa, the Fremont County Sheriff's Office says a Farragut woman is in custody, accused of using a baseball bat in the assault of another woman.
Investigators say 47-year - old Sylvia Marie Hayes faces a number of charges, including attempted murder.
Deputies were called to an address in Farragut on Sunday on a report of a disturbance.
They say a woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
