LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Another mostly dry week across the state of Nebraska is causing a slight expansion of drought conditions.
This week's US Drought Monitor Map from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's National Drought Mitigation Center shows more moderate and severe drought in the Panhandle, and a new area of moderate drought in Northeast Nebraska.
Nearly 80 percent of Nebraska is under drought or near-drought conditions
