(Nashua, IA) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is investigating a discharge into the Cedar River.
DNR officials say a broken sewage pipe running under the Cedar River in Nashua, northwest of Waterloo, was discovered Wednesday night.
An estimated 16-thousand gallons of wastewater is flowing into the Cedar River and headed downstream per day.
