(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Washington High School is back open after a brief lockdown Wednesday morning.
The school was on a brief lockdown after gunshots were reported in the area. The school's "SECURE" protocol involves bringing all students indoors and locking all doors and windows. The Cedar Rapids Police Department later determined there was no threat to the school, and classes have since resumed.
