(Des Moines, IA) -- A pickup ended up in the Des Moines River overnight. Nothing but the white roof was visible from shore, along Birdland Drive between 2nd Avenue and the Marina in Des Moines Thursday morning.
There were police reports involving white pickups the same day.
One man says his new white Ford pickup was stolen overnight from a local motel parking lot. He said he got the new truck Wednesday, and found it gone Thursday morning.
Another case involved a white pickup in a hit and run. A driver in a white Dodge pickup with no plates reportedly hit a pedestrian walking a dog in nearby Nevada. Police say they have located that truck and driver.
