One Person Dead After Rollover Crash In Eastern Iowa

(Cerro Gordo Co, IA) -- An investigation is underway after a rollover crash in Cerro Gordo County left one person dead and another injured.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at around 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, when 29-year-old Adaisha Deandra Allen of Cedar Falls was driving westbound when she was struck by another vehicle driven by 59-year-old Julie Ann Mikkelsen of Cedar Falls, which was traveling south at the intersection of County Roads B43 and S14.

The ISP says both cars rolled and ended up in the ditch.

Allen was pronounced dead at the scene and Mikkelsen was transported to a nearby hospital.

No other details have been released at this time.
