(Omaha, NE) -- After asking for help from the public, Omaha Police have located the the suspect vehicle sought in connection with a fatal vehicle-pedestrian hit-and-run at 34th and Center Streets Tuesday morning.
The vehicle has been impounded. Investigators are still looking for the driver.
Police say 89-year old Walter Tighe of Omaha, was crossing Center Street from north to south when he was struck by a westbound truck.
He was declared dead at the scene by Omaha Fire Paramedics.
