(Des Moines, IA) -- There are now 30 Iowa counties under burn bans, due to dry conditions. The National Weather Service-Des Moines reports there is a chance for some rain in the forecast early Friday.
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southeast Iowa.

Chances for thunderstorms briefly return to the forecast during
the early morning hours Friday. Severe weather is not anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Warm temperatures, low humidities, and gusty south to southwest
winds will produce elevated fire weather conditions Saturday.
