(West Des Moines, IA) -- The West Des Moines Police Department is taking donations for its Pack the Patrol car event today.
The event runs until 7pm this evening, and the West Des Moines Police Department is specifically asking for donations of personal hygiene products. The department says it hopes to fill up several police cars with donations, which will then be sent to the West Des Moines Human Services Personals Pantry. Donations can be made at the West Des Moines Police Department location at 250 Mills Civic Parkway.
