Ramp Closure at I-235 and Valley West Drive to Last Through October

The Iowa Department of Transportation says closure of Exit 1B is expected to last for the next 30 days.

(West Des Moines, IA) -- The eastbound exit and onramps onto I-235 to and from Valley West Drive in West Des Moines are both closed for the next 30 days. The Iowa Department of Transportation says exit 1B is closed for repairs to a storm sewer. Detours are in place using 22nd Street, Ashworth Drive, and Valley West Drive.
