Omaha Police Accident Investigators ask for assistance from anyone who saw a hit - and - run crash at 72nd and Pacific Streets last Friday afternoon.
OPD says the investigation shows a 73-year-old man was southbound on 72nd Street just north of Pacific on a motorcycle when a dark colored SUV hit the back of the motorcycle.
The suspect vehicle fled from the area.
Due to conflicting information, witnesses are asked to contact the OPD Traffic Office at 402-444-5626, or "Omaha Crime Stoppers" at 402- 444-STOP.
Omaha Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
