(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One man is in custody after reports of shots fired near Westdale Town Center Wednesday afternoon.
Police say gunfire was reported around 12:45pm Wednesday. No injuries have been reported, but police say the man who fired the gun tried to escape from officers. The suspect was taken into custody a short time later. Multiple businesses were closed out of caution.
The suspect's identity has not yet been released.
