(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Traffic will be shifting on the Edgewood Road Bridge in Cedar Rapids this week due to a road construction project.
The shift will begin on Tuesday night, October 15th, when traffic will move to the east side of the bridge. Contstruction crews will be working on westbound lanes. The project is expected to last until late December, and during that time, one lane of traffic will be open in each direction.
The project is part of the beginning of phase two of the Edgewood Road, Bridge, and Trail project.
