Pete Festersen announces he is seeking re-election to the Omaha City Council representing Council District 1.
Festersen, the current Council President, was first elected to the Council in 2009, and re-elected in 2013, 2017, and 2021.
His colleagues selected him City Council President three times, and if re-elected, his campaign says he will become the longest serving city council member in Omaha history.
