UTV Crash Leaves One Dead And One Critically Injured In Eastern Iowa

(Clayton Co, IA) -- A car vs UTV crash in eastern Iowa leaves one person dead and another in critical condition.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash Sunday, October 13th at around 11:39 a.m. on Grandview Road near Falcon Avenue and found that 63-year-old Randy McMillin of Elkador, was driving a 2023 Can-Am Defender westbound on Grandview Road when he was struck from the back by a 2009 Ford Fusion as he was attempting to make a turn into a private drive.

Officers say McMillin and his passenger were both ejected.

McMillin was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger, 61-year-old Mary Ann McMillin, was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City where she remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Ford Fusion, 63-year-old Susan Steve, was uninjured.
