(Riverside, IA) -- Highland Community School District residents in the Riverside area are among the many voters across Iowa who'll be asked to approve bonds for school upgrades at the polls next month.

A $15 million bond will cover cafeteria renovations, a new activity facility, and upgraded locker rooms at the high school.

There are plans to add classrooms and a new secure entry for the elementary school too.

The new bond would kick in just as an old one gets paid off, meaning no tax increase for Highland Community School District taxpayers.
