(Pomeroy, IA) -- A wanted man in a 2022 murder case from Texas has been apprehended in Iowa. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says Kyle Coolack was staying at a residence in Pomeroy, when he admitted to the person he was staying with that he's on the run in his brother's murder. Police say that's when he was kicked out of the home, and sheriff's deputies found him walking along Highway 4. They say he initially provided false identifying information, but further questioning resulted in him revealing himself. Coolack is held in the Carroll County Jail, and will be transported back to Houston, Texas.
