(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- 2nd Avenue Southwest between 2nd Street Southwest and 3rd Street Southwest in Cedar Rapids will be closed for more than a year due to construction at Kingston Yard.
Detours are in place, although, drivers who plan to travel along 2nd Avenue Southwest near downtown are asked to find alternative routes.
Construction is expected to take a year and two months to complete.
