Iowa City To Spend Half-Million Improving Parks

(Iowa City, IA) -- Iowa City has approved over half-a-million dollars to improve its city parks.

Under the plan, College Green, Brookland, and Calder parks will receive new paths, trails, playgrounds, and basketball courts.

A new park will also be built on Shannon Drive.

Iowa City is also spending $18-million to replace 76 year-old City Park Pool.
