(Bettendorf, IA) -- Visit Quad Cities officials say tourism was responsible for over a billion dollars in economic activity last year.
That was the highlight of the annual Destination QC event in Bettendorf Thursday.
The area's official tourism promotion agency says six million people visited the QCA in 2023.
President Dave Herrell noted that the industry supports over 9,000 jobs locally.
