(Andalusia, IL) -- A former Hawkeye women's basketball star and current Las Vegas Aces player made an appearance at a Quad Cities-area school Thursday.
Kate Martin spoke with students at Andalusia Elementary School and was named honorary principal for the day.
Her mom Jill works at the school.
Martin will play in the new 3-on-3 Unrivaled Women's Basketball League this winter.
