(Iowa) -- A national financial website ranks Iowa among the top ten best states for veterans.
Lending Tree says Iowa is the 6th best state in the nation for veterans, with roughly 90% access to care, and a 2.5% unemployment rate for veterans. About 6.5% of Iowa's population are veterans. Topping the list of best state for veterans is South Dakota, and at the bottom of the list is California.
