(North Liberty, IA) -- Two children are being treated at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after being rescued from an apartment fire Monday morning.
The North Liberty Fire Department says they responded to the fire at 1010 Rachel Street just before 4:30 a.m. and found most of the fire had already been put out by working working sprinklers.
Crews were able to rescue the two kids from a bedroom and a dog inside the apartment.
There's no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
Investigators are still looking in to the cause of the fire and how much damage it caused.
