(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport students now have access to brand-new athletic facilities after more than a year of construction.
Davenport's West High School revealed several projects Thursday, November 14, including a second gym, a weight room, a wrestling room, and volleyball courts.
The district plans further upgrades, with construction on Sudlow Middle School beginning in December and F.L. Smart Middle School this spring.
Other projects include new science classrooms at North High School and turf fields for all Davenport high schools.
