Cedar Rapids Schools Could Be $10-Million In The Red Next Year

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Community School District says they could be nearly 10-million dollars in the red next year.

District leaders say a drop in enrollment due to ESAs for private and charter schools, along with open enrollment is hurting them.

Cedar Rapids Schools reports having 337 fewer students this year.
