The Omaha office of the National Weather Service in Valley says strong winds with gusts up to 50 to 60 mph will combine with low relative humidity to create dangerous wildfire conditions Wednesday afternoon in the Omaha/Council Bluffs, and Lincoln areas.
In eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, a Red Flag Warning is in effect Wednesday, as well as a High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory.
