(Des Moines, IA) -- The search for the next Lieutenant Governor of Iowa could be over soon.
"I have talked to several people and I'm done interviewing," Reynolds says. "That's why I say I'm relatively close."
Iowa voters approved a constitutional amendment on the November ballot giving the acting governor the right to appoint a new partner in scenarios like this one. The appointee will replace Adam Gregg, who stepped down in September to take a post in the private sector.
