(Cedar Falls, IA) -- The University of Northern Iowa is hiring Todd Stepsis as its next head football coach. Stepsis has been a coach at Drake since 2014, and the head coach for the Bulldogs since 2019.
He has a career head coaching record of 29-32 overall and 27-18 in conference play with Drake. Stepsis is the back-to-back Pioneer Football League Coach of the Year, and has led Drake to two straight league championships.
He replaces Mark Farley, who is retiring after leading the program since 2001.
