Car Decorated In Christmas Lights Is A Violation Of Nebraska Law

(Omaha, NE) -- Thousands of people are clicking and commenting on a social media post by Omaha Scanner about a muscle car wrapped in strands of Christmas lights pulled over at 132nd and Center Street this week.

Omaha Police Project Nite Life posts the citation on X (pictured below) showing the violations of Nebraska Code 60-6,229.

It is against the law for a car to have red and green lights on the front in Nebraska. And against the law to have red lights on the back, except the tail lights.

But, then it turns out the driver is in more trouble for driving with a revoked license. So police impounded the car.
