(Rock Island, Co) -- Rock Island County residents are being urged to lock their vehicles and garages after a string of burglaries throughout the county.
The Sheriff's Office says the burglaries took place between November 28th and 30th in rural communities, and describes the suspects as slender, in their early 20s, wearing dark clothing and ski masks.
They say the suspects burglarized both locked and unlocked vehicles, stealing personal items and firearms.
The suspects are believed to have been armed with handguns in at least three burglaries.
