(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- It'll be just over two weeks until a state commission decides whether Linn County voters were misled when asked whether they wanted a new casino.
The Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission has set January 23rd as the date they'll hear arguments about a petition filed by Riverside Casino to block approval of a gaming license for a casino in Cedar Rapids.
The Riverside petition says a 2021 bond vote is invalid because the question wasn't worded properly.
The Commission says they'll make a decision on the petition January 27th, before deciding on the license application on February 6th.
