A car drove into a building in Des Moines overnight after fleeing from police.
According to police dispatch audio, the chase began shortly before 12:30 Monday morning, not far from Drake University. At one point, Des Moines Police officers reported the driver had hit a squad car while fleeing from police.
After briefly losing the driver, officers discovered the car had crashed into a building at 2301 Hickman Road, the location of the Freedom for Youth Ministries. Police reported over dispatch the building had partially collapsed, and was being held up by the car.
No injuries or arrests have been reported at this time.
