(Lincoln, NE) -- After hours of floor debate, the Nebraska Legislature late Tuesday afternoon did not end a filibuster on L-B 3, the proposal to restore "Winner-Take-All" to Nebraska’s electoral college vote, stalling the proposal this session.
The effort to end the filibuster came up two votes short.
Currently Nebraska's five electoral votes are divided up by congressional district winner.
Only Nebraska and Maine have that Electoral College vote system.
