Medical Marijuana Regulation Bill Fails To Advance In Nebraska Legislature

(Lincoln, NE) -- Nebraska's Medical Marijuana regulation bill has failed to make it to floor debate.

An amendment to Legislative Bill 677 would have created a Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission to oversee the medical marijuana industry throughout the state. The bill failed three to five and will not be sent to the general file, despite a majority of Nebraska voters supporting the legalization of medical marijuana.
