Seventeen EMS Employees Resign After Chief Is Fired In Granger

(Granger, IA) -- Seventeen EMS employees resigned after their chief was fired in Granger.

Mayor Tony James confirmed in a Facebook post that the 17 employees resigned following a special city council meeting. Former Chief of the Emergency Medical Services, Jessica Juhl, was fired as a result of a merger between the fire department and the EMS department. Currently, paramedics from other county departments are assisting Granger with EMS services.
