(Davenport, IA) -- A defense lawyer told a Scott County jury that just because their clients were drug users didn't make them murderers or arsonists.
A first-degree murder trial is underway for two people charged in a double homicide last year in Davenport.
Prosecutors say Devon Braet and Adriana Blake killed a couple they had been staying with in January of last year and started a fire to cover up the crime.
