Des Moines Parks and Recreation's Neighborhood Flower Program Underway

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Parks and Recreation's annual Neighborhood Flower Program is underway as of today.

Parks and Rec volunteers are preparing flowers that will ultimately be distributed to neighborhood groups across Des Moines and throughout the weekend. The annual program is a partnership with Des Moines Parks and Recreation, non-profit organizations, schools, and neighborhood associations.

The flowers will be planted on public land in Des Moines city limits.
