(East Moline, IL) -- The East Moline School District is changing up its boundaries and grades at its elementary schools.
For the 2026-27 school year, all elementary schools will teach grades kindergarten through fifth, and Glenview Middle School will convert to sixth through eighth grade.
The District says new school boundaries which they've yet to settle on, will allow more students to walk to school.
The District will present detailed plans at upcoming meetings.
