(Davenport, IA) -- The public is being invited to salute members of the Iowa National Guard as they leave for deployment this evening.
Delta Company, 1-133rd Infantry Battalion, Iowa Army National Guard is headed to the to the Middle East to support Operation Inherent Resolve.
Davenport Police will escort the soldiers as their buses leave town from the Davenport Armory at 6:30 p.m.
Residents are invited to offer their support from viewing locations at:
- 4210 N. Brady (Empowering Abilities)
- 1111 W. Kimberly Rd. (parking lot of MidCity High School)
- 101 W. Kimberly Rd. (Smart Lexus)
