Nevada Man Sentenced For Defrauding Moline Of Over $400K

(Moline, IL) -- A 65 year-old man from Las Vegas will spend nearly three years in jail after defrauding the city of Moline of almost half-a-million dollars.

Prosecutors say the man sent emails to Moline city staff posing as a vendor with new bank deposit instructions that redirected over $400,000 of payments into his account.

Luisito Espanola was charged with wire fraud and money laundering.
