(Des Moines, IA) -- Crow Tow will once again serve as the impound towing partner for Polk County. Four years after the Board of Supervisors terminated its contract with the Des Moines-based company due to resident complaints, the county is entering into a new agreement with the firm.
Opponents on the board cited those past complaints, while supporters argue they were primarily related to private-property tows. The new agreement, they note, is limited to crash scenes and other official county business.
The contract begins on July 1, 2025, and will remain in effect until June 30, 2028.
