(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police have identified the victim of a fatal overnight motorcycle crash as 33-year-old Jose Paulo Wedergren. According to investigators, Wedergren was riding his motorcycle in South Omaha when he collided with the side of a BMW SUV.
The impact separated him from the motorcycle, which continued forward and struck a Honda SUV. Wedergren was transported to the hospital, and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
This is the 26th fatal motor vehicle accident in Omaha so far this year.
