(Iowa) -- A new national study finds Iowa one of the most affordable states for homebuyers.
Real estate website Property Shark looked at all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and found that Iowa is the second most affordable state for homebuyers. In Iowa, the average home sale price is two hundred thirty thousand dollars. Alabama comes in first with an average median home sale price of two hundred twenty thousand, and California comes in last with the median home sale price at eight hundred twenty five thousand dollars.
