(Des Moines, IA) -- A popular summer festival begins Friday in downtown Des Moines.
The festival will feature more than 50 food vendors representing over 25 countries, as well as live performances on multiple stages. Two dollar sample food items will be available from vendors throughout the duration of the festival, which runs through Sunday. The festival will be held at Western Gateway Park, with free parking available at the Nationwide ramp located at 12th Street and Walnut Street.
