(Davenport, IA) -- As hot as it was the past few weeks in the QCA, we didn't set any records for last month, but the National Weather Service in Davenport says it was the 6th driest September on record.

Quad Cities International Airport in Moline recorded just seven-tenths of an inch of rain for the month.

National Weather Service meteorologist Dave Cousins says we may see some rain on the weekend.

Cousins also says we'll cool down come Monday, but early October temperatures will still trend above average.
