(Des Moines, IA) -- The State Historical Society of Iowa will host a first-of-it's kind event this weekend, called Goldie's Halloween Bash.
The family-friendly event will be held from 3pm-5pm at the State Historical Museum of Iowa on Saturday, October 25th. The event will give children and parents a chance to tour the museum and enjoy hands-on learning experiences. Costumes are encouraged, and the event is free and open to the public.
Goldie's Halloween Bash will include:
- A scavenger hunt through museum exhibits
- Hands-on craft activities
- Not-so-spooky story time
- A joke station where children can share their favorite Beggar's Night jokes
- Treats provided by Baratta's (while they last)
The State Historical Museum of Iowa is located at 600 E Locust Street in Des Moines. More information is available on the State Historical Society of Iowa website.
