(Ames, IA) -- Iowa State University has announced its next president.
Dr. David Cook, currently serving as president of North Dakota State University in Fargo, will take the helm at ISU. Cook is an Ames native and a former Cyclone.
Current ISU President Wendy Wintersteen will retire on January 1.
