(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines firefighters were back on the scene of a fire at a home in the 69-hundred block of South West 15th Street Friday morning, where a fire was also called in on Monday.
"This is the same house from earlier this week that an Amazon driver had reported a fire to our public safety dispatchers that was located at the rear of this home. As of right now, arson investigators, along with our partners at Des Moines Police, are going to conduct a very thorough investigation," said Ahman (ah MAHN) Douglass, spokesman for the Des Moines Fire Department.
Douglass says while there is no assumption of malicious intent or criminal activity involved in the fires, it does guarantee every detail will be investigated.
No one was in the home this morning but it was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Douglass says the house has been under renovation.
