(Des Moines, IA) -- Thousands of Des Moines-area residents are without power during this morning’s storms.
According to the MidAmerican Energy Company’s outage map, as of 9 this morning, over 6-thousand households are without power.
MidAmerican says crews are actively working to restore power as the storms move through.
