(Ames, IA) -- The Ames City Council will discuss possible limitations on data center developments during tomorrow (Tuesday) night's meeting.
The meeting follows a proposal from Des Moines-based LightEdge to build a data center west of the Ames Municipal Airport.
A memo from the city attorney outlines possible restrictions, including limiting data centers to industrial areas and requiring additional city approval before projects can move forward.
Public input will not be taken during the meeting.
